3rd Annual Jefferies Asia Forum - Fireside Chat

Summary

The volatile nature of the crypto space brings about many challenges, particularly during the bear market. For smaller scale startups in the space, it can be difficult to secure funding or find clients that are ready to adopt the new asset class. The crypto space operates on different market infrastructure which eliminates the participation of centralized institutions - meaning there is no centralized entity that can unwind errors. So for digital asset organizations, there is greater motivation to build reliable technology that can create connectivity and increase adoption.

Hex Trust CEO, Alessio Quaglini, sat down with Jefferies Asia for a fireside chat attended by an international mix of investors. The discussion centered around the crypto landscape, Hex Trust’s journey so far and its future in the digital asset space. Further topics included differences between traditional custodians and digital asset custodians.
