Hex Trust Receives SOC 1 Type I Certification from Deloitte, Demonstrating Commitment to Internal Control and Integrity

February 10, 2023

Hex Trust, the leading institutional digital asset custodian, today announced that it has successfully completed the SOC 1® Type I - SOC for Service Organizations: ICFR attestation independently conducted by Deloitte. As a widely recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), SOC 1 compliance affirms that Hex Trust’s internal controls regarding customer financial reporting and asset segregation practices meet rigorous standards.

This milestone demonstrates Hex Trust’s continuous commitment to ensuring that all of its internal controls, policies, processes, operations, and security practices meet industry standards, and that clients are protected at all times. The certification further strengthens the company's position as the institutional gateway to digital assets, enabling financial institutions and corporations to seamlessly integrate digital assets into their business operations in a highly secure, scalable and compliant manner.

“At Hex Trust, we always put our clients’ interests first and foremost, and our attainment of the SOC 1 Type I attestation is a key example of ensuring they are provided full transparency and integrity. It has always been our priority to adopt the highest global standards for our internal processes in order to protect our clients and their assets.” — Marty Jetton, Chief Network Officer of Hex Trust

“Long term and enduring success lies in trust, and what sets Hex Trust apart from all other players is a heavy emphasis on our ability to follow regulatory and compliance requirements in a timely manner. This assessment was vital in reflecting that all our internal controls and processes are executed with integrity and accountability.” — Andrew Economos, Group Chief Financial Officer of Hex Trust
